Investing in the future of Caribbean tourism

Supporters of the Caribbean’s travel and tourism industry have an opportunity to “do good” and potentially “do well” by participating in an ongoing Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association Education Foundation (CHTAEF) raffle to help provide scholarships and training for the region’s hospitality professionals.

Since 1986, the Foundation has provided training for current industry professionals and scholarships for the next generation of tourism stars.

Support of fundraising activities allows the Foundation to create new training programs and educational opportunities such as the new Professional Development Program, and the soon-to-be-launched Staff Empowerment Training Program.

Up for grabs are two vacations at two top Caribbean resorts: a five-night, all-inclusive stay for two at the newly unveiled O2 Beach Club & Spa in Barbados and a five-night stay in a Sun Infinity Pool Sanctuary at the heralded Jade Mountain resort in St. Lucia, also for two people, with breakfast and dinner. Other perks, such as airport transfers, are included at both resorts.

Click here to enter to win the O2 Barbados vacation, which is valued at USD$10,000.

Click here to enter to win the Jade experience in St. Lucia, which is valued at USD$14,500.

Raffle purchases support CHTAEF’s mission to provide people throughout the Caribbean with an awareness of the varied career opportunities in the industry, as well as technical and professional development through scholarships, special assistance initiatives and other training programs.

The drawing ends on Sunday, July 24 at 4 p.m. ET.

For more information about the Foundation, visit chtaef.com or email foundation@caribbeanhotelandtourism.com.
