{"id":12751,"date":"2022-08-31T04:41:04","date_gmt":"2022-08-31T04:41:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/qik.ety.mybluehost.me\/?p=12751"},"modified":"2024-06-19T06:59:34","modified_gmt":"2024-06-19T06:59:34","slug":"bvi-bouncing-back-better-than-ever","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/caribbeantourismauthority.com\/staging\/1605\/bvi-bouncing-back-better-than-ever\/","title":{"rendered":"BVI bouncing back better than ever"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In addition to welcoming refreshed accommodations and attractions, tourism officials in the British overseas territory are gearing up for the celebration of the 10th anniversary of the\u00a0<strong>Anegada Lobster Festival<\/strong>\u00a0over the U.S. Thanksgiving holidays (November 25-27, 2022), and 2023\u00a0marks the 50th anniversary of the\u00a0<strong>BVI Spring Regatta and Sailing Festival<\/strong>, one of the Caribbean\u2019s premier annual racing events.<\/p>\n<p>Also marking its golden anniversary next year is the relaunched\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/beyc.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bitter End Yacht Club<\/a>, which will unveil a number of exciting developments.<\/p>\n<p>Notable accommodations updates in the BVI include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/theinnatcornucopiabvi.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Inn at Cornucopia<\/a>\u00a0has recently reopened on Virgin Gorda.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>This fall Jost Van Dyke will welcome\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/thehideoutbvi.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Hideout in White Bay<\/a>,\u00a0which will be the island\u2019s first luxury boutique resort perfectly situated on one of the Caribbean\u2019s top-rated beaches.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.longbay.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Long Bay Beach Resort<\/a>\u00a0on Tortola recently opened four of 10 new Hillside Suites. The remainder is expected to be opened in October.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/oilnutbay.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Oil\u00a0Nut Bay<\/a>\u00a0on Virgin Gorda will be going through renovations to\u00a0two of its dining outlets\u00a0\u2013\u00a0The Beach Club and The Pavillion. Oil Nut Bay\u2019s helicopter pad is in the process of approval to become an international airport, allowing for international air arrivals directly to the
