{"id":12809,"date":"2022-08-03T06:43:14","date_gmt":"2022-08-03T06:43:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/qik.ety.mybluehost.me\/?p=12809"},"modified":"2024-06-18T12:17:05","modified_gmt":"2024-06-18T12:17:05","slug":"ncl-takes-delivery-of-norwegian-prima","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/caribbeantourismauthority.com\/staging\/1605\/ncl-takes-delivery-of-norwegian-prima\/","title":{"rendered":"NCL takes delivery of Norwegian Prima"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"row\">\n<div class=\"column\">\n<div class=\"text-block\"><strong>Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL)<\/strong> took delivery of its newest ship, <strong>Norwegian Prima<\/strong>, in Marghera, Venice at the renowned Fincantieri shipyard last week.<\/p>\n<p>The highly anticipated milestone marks the arrival of the first ship in NCL\u2019s <strong>Prima Class<\/strong> that will see six new ships delivered through 2027.<\/p>\n<p>At 965 feet\/294 meters long, 142,500 gross tons, and with capacity for 3,100 guests, <strong>Norwegian Prima<\/strong> is designed to put guests first.<\/p>\n<p>The vessel features wide-open spaces, thoughtful and stunning design, and a variety of brand and industry-firsts, laying claim as <strong>the most spacious new cruise ship in the contemporary category<\/strong> and offering the most outdoor deck space and expansive accommodations of any new build.<\/p>\n<p>The vessel\u2019s variety of elevated experiences and epicurean delights include the brand\u2019s first upscale open-air food hall, <strong>Indulge Food Hall<\/strong>; the first and largest three-level racetrack at sea, the <strong>Prima Speedway<\/strong>; and <strong>The Drop<\/strong>, the world\u2019s first freefall dry slide offering a 10-story plunge experience that reaches more G-forces than an accelerating F1 race car.<\/p>\n<p>After setting sail in Europe, Norwegian Prima will sail <strong>Bermuda<\/strong> from Oct. 10, 2022; <strong>Caribbean itineraries<\/strong> from Oct. 15, 2022; and <strong>Western Caribbean<\/strong> voyages from Dec. 11, 2022, to March 19, 2023, before returning to Bermuda from March 28 to May 7, 2023.<\/div>\n<hr class=\"separator\" \/>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) took delivery of its newest ship, Norwegian Prima, in Marghera, Venice at the renowned Fincantieri shipyard last week.
