On social media, he commented: \u201cAs a Virgin Islander and Puerto Rican it was an honor to be selected to represent my region of the world! A lot of ppl might not know it but our Hispanic heritage in stx [St. Croix] is a part of our DNA!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In the feature, Rojas, who has a restaurant in a local farmers market, prepared <strong>arepas<\/strong>, while P\u00e9rez, who collaborates with his community through food programs for lower income families in downtown Los Angeles, served up <strong>oxtail and tasty
