Supporters of the <\/span>Caribbean\u2019s travel and tourism industry<\/b> have an opportunity to \u201cdo good\u201d and potentially \u201cdo well\u201d by participating in an ongoing <\/span>Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association Education Foundation (CHTAEF)<\/b> raffle to help provide scholarships and training for the region\u2019s hospitality professionals.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Since 1986<\/b>, the Foundation has provided training for current industry professionals and scholarships for the next generation of tourism stars.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Support of fundraising activities allows the Foundation to create new training programs and educational opportunities such as the new <\/span>Professional Development Program<\/b>, and the soon-to-be-launched <\/span>Staff Empowerment Training Program<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Up for grabs are two vacations at two top Caribbean resorts: a five-night, all-inclusive stay for two at the newly unveiled <\/span>O2 Beach Club & Spa in Barbados <\/b>and a five-night stay in a Sun Infinity Pool Sanctuary at the heralded <\/span>Jade Mountain resort in St. Lucia<\/b>, also for two people, with breakfast and dinner. Other perks, such as airport transfers, are included at both resorts.<\/span><\/p>\n
