This year\u2019s edition was staged in Miami over the past two days.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The event offered an opportunity for investors, financiers and representatives from hotels, resorts, trade associations and destinations to network and learn more about the outlook for the region\u2019s travel and tourism industry, which from all indications is bright.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">During the meeting, <\/span><b>Nick and Karolin Troubetzkoy<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> of Anse Chastanet and Jade Mountain resorts in St. Lucia were named <\/span><b>Lifetime Achievement Award<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> winners, while <\/span><b>Julianna Musgrove<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, Regional Learning and Development Manager of Sandals Resorts International, took home the Caribbean \u201cRising Star\u201d award.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The <\/span><b>Deal of the Year awards<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in Development and Transaction categories, went to <\/span><b>Rock House <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">in Providenciales, Turks &amp; Caicos Islands, and <\/span><b>Dorado Beach, A Ritz-Carlton Reserve<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in Dorado, Puerto Rico, respectively.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Here are some pictorial highlights of the conference.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_13038\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-13038\" style=\"width: 1200px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"lazyload_inited size-full wp-image-13038\" src=\"http:\/\/caribbeantourismauthority.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/P1033559.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1200\" height=\"956\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-13038\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Nicola Madden-Greig, President of the Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association (CHTA) and Group Director of Marketing &amp; Sales of The Courtleigh Hospitality Group, delivered an upbeat address on the performance of Caribbean travel and tourism, and caught up later with Adam Stewart, Executive Chairman of Sandals Resorts International.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"attachment_13039\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-13039\" style=\"width: 1200px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"lazyload_inited size-full wp-image-13039\" src=\"http:\/\/caribbeantourismauthority.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/P1033486.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1200\" height=\"805\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-13039\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Team CHTA celebrated the accomplishments of CHRIS Lifetime Achievement Award winners, Nick and Karolin Troubetzkoy of Anse Chastanet and Jade Mountain resorts in St. Lucia.
