The\u00a0FCCA Foundation<\/strong>,<\/a> the charitable arm of the\u00a0Florida-Caribbean Cruise Association (FCCA<\/a>)<\/strong>, has launched an annual scholarship in honor of former Prime Minister of Barbados,\u00a0The Right Honorable Professor Owen Seymour Arthur<\/strong>, who played a significant role in advancing the cruise trade association\u2019s vision.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The annual gift of US$25,000 will be awarded to a different Caribbean destination each year to support the work of either an educational institution or a nonprofit organization chosen by the destination. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Barbados will receive the inaugural Owen Arthur scholarship, and next year\u2019s scholarship destination winner will be announced at the \u2018Shining Stars FCCA Foundation Dinner\u2019 during Seatrade Cruise Global 2025<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
