Following its successful management of Harrison’s Cave for the past three years, Chukka Caribbean Adventures has been invited to enter a similar management agreement with another of Barbados’ major attractions, Hunte’s Gardens.
Effective November 1, the partnership creates a natural synergy, with Hunte’s Gardens located just a short seven-minute drive from Harrison’s Cave. Chukka CEO Marc Melville stated that Chukka’s management of Hunte’s Gardens aligns with the continued growth of Harrison’s Cave as a central hub for the area.
Anthony Hunte, owner of Hunte’s Gardens, expressed his enthusiasm about the partnership, noting, “The Chukka team will work to increase our visitor numbers, yield and revenue as they continue to promote our sustainable tourism practices.”
Plans for Hunte’s Gardens include:
- Introducing new, immersive tours and experiences for all guests
- Constructing a new Welcome Center
- Enhancing retail, food, and beverage offerings
- Producing a three-part docuseries featuring Anthony Hunte’s story and the rich history of the Gardens
