The Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO) conducted a high-level mission to Bermuda last weekend, strengthening its engagement with the island, the CTO’s newest member.
Secretary-General and CEO Dona Regis-Prosper, along with Sharon Banfield-Bovell, Director of Resource Mobilization and Development, attended a session of the Bermuda House of Assembly during the official three-day visit. They also paid courtesy visits to Premier David Burt, and Senator Owen Darrell, Minister of Tourism, Culture and Sport, as well as other key officials.
The CTO reaffirmed its commitment to fostering stronger ties with Bermuda and all its member destinations, supporting efforts to enhance regional collaboration within the Caribbean.
Highlighting Bermuda’s potential in sports tourism, the CTO team attended the Butterfield Bermuda Championship at Port Royal Golf Course, a PGA Tour event that injected millions into the local economy.
