SAN JUAN (July 19, 2026) — Global Ports Holding (GPH) has promoted Clarivette Diaz to Regional Director, Latin America (LATAM).
Diaz will continue to serve as General Manager of San Juan Cruise Port while assuming expanded regional responsibilities to support GPH’s continued growth across Latin America.
In her new role, Diaz will lead GPH’s strategic growth initiatives across the region, with an initial focus on Mexico. She will also support the company’s broader expansion in Spanish-speaking markets. Working closely with GPH’s Americas leadership team, she will strengthen relationships with cruise lines, government authorities and key industry stakeholders.
Diaz brings more than 17 years of experience in the maritime and logistics sectors. She began her career with Tropical Shipping in 2008, advancing through progressively senior leadership roles. She previously served as Island Manager for the Port of San Juan and, in 2023, was appointed General Manager of Puerto Rico Terminals, an affiliate of Tropical Shipping. She joined GPH as General Manager of San Juan Cruise Port in November 2024
