CASTRIES, St. Lucia (June 18, 2026) — The Saint Lucia Tourism Authority (SLTA) has signed a new multi-year global partnership with Arsenal Football Club, the reigning Premier League and Champions Cup winners, naming the club as its Official Destination Partner.

The agreement, which begins with the 2026-27 season, is expected to deliver significant global exposure for St. Lucia, particularly in the important United Kingdom market. Beyond tourism promotion, the partnership will support the development of an Academy Hub on the island, providing mentorship opportunities and pathways for young players to develop their talents, reach their full potential, and foster a stronger sense of pride and belonging.

Deputy Prime Minister Dr. Ernest Hilaire, who also serves as St. Lucia’s Minister for Tourism, Investment, Commerce, Creative Industries, Culture and Heritage said: “This partnership is grounded in shared values of social responsibility, resilience and sustainability, reflected in both Arsenal’s work with its supporters and community, and our commitment to our people. We look forward to showcasing St. Lucia’s vibrant culture, dynamic events calendar and natural beauty to Arsenal supporters worldwide.”

Juliet Slot, Chief Commercial Officer for Arsenal Football Club, welcomed the collaboration: “We’re delighted to partner with St. Lucia, a world-renowned destination with a rich history and culture, that share our values of community and an always forward mindset. We want every Gooner, whether they’re in Islington or St. Lucia, whether they’ve been supporting us for 50 years or five, to feel and see themselves in our club. This is an exciting partnership that gives us this opportunity and will help fuel our ambitions of growth and success.”

As part of the agreement, St. Lucia will receive brand visibility at Emirates Stadium and across Arsenal’s men’s and women’s matches in the Premier League, Women’s Super League and cup competitions, reaching millions of fans worldwide. The destination will also benefit from exposure across Arsenal’s digital and social media platforms.

The collaboration will feature joint marketing campaigns, supporter engagement initiatives and international promotions, further amplifying St. Lucia’s “Let Her Inspire You” campaign through both the men’s and women’s first teams.

The Saint Lucia Tourism Authority has a strong track record of leveraging major sports partnerships to raise the destination’s profile, including previous collaborations with the New York Yankees, Toronto Raptors, Toronto Maple Leafs and Brooklyn Nets.

Arsenal has one of the largest global fan bases in football, with millions of supporters around the world.
