At ITB Berlin this month, Director General of Tourism Latia Duncombe reaffirmed The Bahamas’ long-standing commitment to the European market. While the United States remains the primary source market, Duncombe said Europe and the United Kingdom remain vital. ITB provided an important opportunity to meet directly with travel trade partners and online travel companies to discuss trends, performance and opportunities for growth.
She also highlighted new digital tools designed to make it easier for travelers to explore The Bahamas, including a website translated into five languages and an itinerary builder that helps visitors plan personalized experiences.
