Caribbean prepares for winter tourism season

Share

The Caribbean is entering a crucial pre-Thanksgiving period this week that signals the start of its busiest travel season.

Destinations across the region have started to welcome travelers who are trading cooler autumn weather for warm beaches and turquoise waters.

The next few weeks are viewed as an important prelude to the official winter tourism rush beginning December 15. Hotels and resorts have spent the fall making upgrades such as refreshed suites, renovated pools and enhanced amenities, ensuring properties are polished for peak demand.

With Thanksgiving approaching on November 27, the region is poised to deliver a season of strong visitor arrivals, cultural celebrations, and renewed connections.
