Several Caribbean delegations have gathered in London for the World Travel Market (WTM), one of the most influential global events in travel and tourism, which kicks off on Tuesday.
The Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO), led by Secretary-General & CEO Dona Regis-Prosper and newly appointed Director of Research Aliyyah Shakeer, will spearhead the organization’s engagements at the event. The CTO has scheduled strategic meetings with leading global travel and tourism entities such as the World Travel and Tourism Council, Euromonitor International, ForwardKeys, Tourism Economics, and Routes.
WTM is a premier event for travel industry professionals, drawing over 40,000 participants from 184 countries last year. For the Caribbean, it presents an invaluable opportunity to highlight its diverse travel offerings and solidify its standing in the global tourism landscape.
The CTO, in collaboration with partners including the CTO Chapter UK and Europe, will be at the Caribbean Pavilion (Booth S6-316).
On Tuesday, Regis-Prosper will address a dynamic panel titled “Building a Consistent Vibe Across Messaging, Delivery, and More”. In this session, top CMOs and C-suite executives will explore the evolving landscape of travel marketing – diving deep into how brands can ensure a cohesive and effective “vibe” across every touchpoint.
Additionally, a special Caribbean Ministerial Roundtable involving Ministers and Commissioners of Tourism will take place on Thursday, underscoring the region’s strategic priorities in the global travel market.
