The Florida-Caribbean Cruise Association (FCCA) has renewed its partnership with Diamonds International – the world’s largest tax and duty-free jeweler and a major Caribbean employer – to support the FCCA Foundation’s mission of fostering education, sports, and career-building opportunities for youth in cruise communities.
This renewed collaboration ensures the continuation of key FCCA Foundation initiatives, including the annual essay competition, which awards tens of thousands in scholarship dollars, and the Holiday Gift Project, which last year brought gifts and celebrations to nearly 5,000 students across 23 destinations. Additionally, the Foundation has introduced a new $25,000 annual scholarship in memory of the late Prime Minister of Barbados, Owen Arthur, and provided vital support to schools in St. Maarten during the FCCA Cruise Conference & Trade Show.
As part of this commitment, the Foundation’s premier event – the “Shining Stars FCCA Foundation Dinner” – returns to Seatrade Cruise Global. This exclusive gathering will take place on Tuesday, April 8, at Papi Steak Miami, bringing together industry executives for an evening of impact and giving back.
