FCCA features specialty panels at annual Cruise Conference

The Florida-Caribbean Cruise Association (FCCA) Cruise Conference and Trade Show, taking place in San Juan from October 21-24, will feature specialty panels offering forward-thinking strategies, practical tools and fresh perspectives for industry stakeholders. Kicking off on Tuesday, October 21, Melanie Colpitts, Vice President of Training at Aquila Center for Cruise Excellence, will lead the Cruise Industry Masterclass: Trends, Insights & Opportunities, a dynamic, future-focused look at the trends transforming the global cruise sector — from evolving guest expectations to sustainability and technology innovations — while inspiring attendees to approach the conference with intention, connection and purpose.

On Thursday, October 23, the focus turns to innovation, resilience and communications. 

Eric Benedict, Vice President of Training & Development at Access Cruise Inc., will present Charting a New Course: AI Solutions for Cruise & Tour Professionals, exploring how artificial intelligence can optimize operations, personalize guest experiences and enhance destination services. 

Beverly Nicholson-Doty, CEO of Figment Design, will follow with Purpose-Driven Resilience: Building Cruise Tourism Success from Port to People, sharing lessons from St. Lucia’s COVID recovery and the U.S. Virgin Islands’ hurricane response. 

Bevan Springer, President & CEO of Marketplace Excellence, will lead Beyond Social Media: Building and Evaluating an Effective Communications Plan, guiding stakeholders on creating integrated strategies that align goals, channels and metrics to boost visibility, engagement and ROI.
