Marie McKenzie has been appointed Chair of the Florida-Caribbean Cruise Association (FCCA) Operations Committee, the first woman to do so.
McKenzie, Senior Vice President of Government & Destination Affairs for Carnival Corporation & plc, steps into this leadership position with nearly three decades of experience in the cruise industry. Succeeding Daniel S. Farkas of Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd., she is committed to fostering collaboration, driving industry innovation, and strengthening partnerships across the Caribbean, Mexico and Central America.
A proud Jamaican and Caribbean native, McKenzie has called on stakeholders to join her in shaping a more sustainable and prosperous future for cruise tourism.
As Chair of the Operations Committee, McKenzie will lead strategic initiatives such as site visits, town hall meetings, and product evaluations while guiding discussions at key FCCA events, including the PAMAC Summit in Aruba (June 18-20) and the FCCA Cruise Conference & Trade Show in Puerto Rico (October 20-24). Her leadership will focus on tourism development, port operations, and strengthening economic opportunities for destinations.
