BARBADOS (Sept. 16, 2026) — The Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association (CHTA) has confirmed Bruce Poon Tip, founder of the award-winning small-group adventure travel company G Adventures and a pioneer of community tourism, as the keynote speaker for its annual Caribbean Hospitality Industry Exchange Forum (CHIEF), scheduled for Nov. 16-18 at the Wyndham Grand Barbados Sam Lords Castle Resort in Barbados.
The Trinidad and Tobago-born, Canada-based entrepreneur leads the world’s largest small-group adventure travel company, which has 28 offices worldwide. G Adventures hosts 200,000 travelers annually, offers more than 750 tours and operates in 100 countries across all seven continents.

CHIEF 2026 will bring Caribbean hospitality professionals together to address the business issues shaping the region’s competitiveness, including artificial intelligence and technology, revenue growth, direct bookings and distribution, operational excellence, workforce development and leadership, sustainability and resilience, guest experience and new revenue opportunities.
